FTS 2014 is an iPhone/iPad sports game. For those soccer fans out there, you couldn’t ask for a better ball-game experience right at your fingertips. So what are you waiting for? Let’s play!
Your role is a team manager and is asked to choose a team from a list. Team management is your key role here but above all that, you must guide your team to victory-after-victory and to do so you must control your players… literally. Choose from either a virtual gamepad control or the newly adapted “one -touch” control setup.
First Touch Soccer 2014 Gameplay
Graphics: Average
Average overall graphics, player models are bad when viewed close-up, not very detailed but is compensated by better movement animations. Environment details and crowds are okay.
Sound: Very Good
The song choices are great, I personally like the songs and they fit the soccer theme quite nicely. Dialogues are also present, and mostly are from the game commentator which gives a realistic game experience to it. By the way, this game is best experienced in headsets.
Gameplay: Good
The game itself is quite difficult if you’ve never played the sport or if your not that of a fan, but learning the basics is as easy as learning how to operate your iPhone/iPad, so hey, no pressure. The gamepad control sensitivity is not that good, and may require a little “getting-to-know”. Despite that the new “One Touch” control feature is just great and may be preferable if you’re experiencing some difficulty on the gamepad control style. This new feature is what rewards this game the most. Overall.. Good.
Cons: Bad player model designs. Difficult gamepad control sensitivity.
