A great HTML5 platform game that incorporates gravity manipulation in it. Unique in its own way and can be very interesting if given enough playtime.
You play as Dumbo octopus, a rare deep-sea animal, who by a twist of fate ended up at the earth’s surface because of some gravity anomaly. Your goal is to break container glasses filled with water, be wary of strange aliens that are roaming the surface and obstacles that block your way. Survive and bring back Earth to the way it was.
AirScape Gameplay
Graphics: Very Good
Simple yet fluid animations brings about the best in its graphics. The 2D hand-drawn graphics are too simplistic and has a kiddy feel to it yet it suits the game well and the user interface is very clean, maybe too clean to some.
Sound: Good
Pleasant background music feels relaxing to the ears unlike other games where loud noises often increases your stress level. Cute squishy sounds from the octopus’ footsteps and the explosion when the octopus dies are what mostly makes up the sound effects. Not much sounds going on but it’s still good.
Gameplay: Very Good
The gamestyle is unique from the usual platform games, since it incorporates gravity manipulation which is not used by many. Very easy to grasp gameplay where you only move left or right and jump, which is why even kids can play this, and a very challenging-increasing difficulty levels that will surely even make adults admire this game.
Cons: Can be too challenging at certain levels.
