Sardonyx Tactics is a turn-based SRPG(strategy RPG) game on the iOS platform. Make your way through the deep and immense storyline of this amazing game and uncover what lies beyond the unknown.
The story revolves around Edward, a boy who is in agony from dreams he can’t understand. Together with his friends Lena and Dyllis, they trained to become warriors in order to protect the village and anything that holds precious to them. You start with three characters at your disposal, and will keep on increasing as the game progresses. You must carefully plan strategies according to your desired team in order to complete missions and achieve your goals.
Sardonyx Gameplay
Graphics: Good
Great graphics. Character models are well made using vibrant colors and their costume designs are very fantasy-like, which gives it a Final Fantasy game feel to it. Average animations and attack effects, very common for an RPG game.
Sound: Good
Great background music, reminds you of those old famous RPG games, very pleasing to the ears. Good sound effects but no voiced dialogues.
Gameplay: Very Good
I’ve always loved turn-based strategy RPG games, and this I’ll love too. You could say this game doesn’t stray much from the common gamestyle of a turn-based SRPG, but that “classic” gamestyle is what pulled-in fans to begin with, and that many gamers out there are still huge fans of this genre. The game may not be for beginners in this type of genre because the difficulty of this game is quite high, especially if planning strategies is something your not good at. Overall, a fantastic game that has over 60 hours of gameplay for serious gamers out there.
Cons: Can be quite difficult. Not for casual gamers.
